Al Lobaina loves Jesus, his wife of seven years Tara, his children Isabella, Boaz, and Caleb, and his Bible—in that order. He is the lead volunteer for the Mars Hill Military Mission. Al holds a B.A. in History from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing an M.Div from Western Seminary. He served five years in the Army with tours in Afghanistan (where God saved him) and Iraq. Al digs hanging with his wife and eating Cuban food.

MARS HILL MILITARY MISSION OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

The Mars Hill Military Mission exists to get cross-saturated, Christ-exalting resources that are culturally relevant into the hands of service members around the globe. This includes getting copies of Porn Again Christian, the Vintage Jesus DVD Curriculum, and other resources into the hands of chaplains and other military personnel so that they can be punched in the gut with the Gospel.

Here are some practical ways you can help us in working out Matthew 28:19-20:

1.) Pray directly and intentionally for the service members who come across these resources to be changed by Christ.

2.) Give to help us buy books, Bibles, and DVDs to send over at no charge to service members. To give, go to marshillchurch.org/give and choose “Military Ministry” under “Fund.”

3.) Spread the word about the need for the Gospel in the military to your churches and family members.
