Dr. Timothy G. Gombis is assistant professor of New Testament at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. He earned his PhD at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, writing a dissertation on divine warfare in the argument of Ephesians. He has previously published articles in Westminster Theological Journal, Novum Testamentum, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Tyndale Bulletin, and Journal for the Evangelical Theological Society. Dr. Gombis and his wife, Sarah, have three young children and serve on the leadership team at Midtown Christian Community in Springfield, Ohio.
