On January 8, 2008 Dr. Peter Jones of Westminster Seminary and Christian Witness to a Pagan Planet came to Seattle to give a lecture at one of our local Pastors' workshops (Pastoring in Today's Zeitgeist) and to participate in a Resurgence Event (Walking in the Land of Blur). In between the sessions, Mark Driscoll had the opportunity to interview Dr. Jones about his life, his work, his books, the Gospel and our pagan culture.

We at Resurgence are excited to announce that starting in 2008 we will begin publishing a line of books called Re:Lit (Resurgence Literature) with our friends at Crossway. They have been absolutely amazing to work with and we could not be more excited. At present, we are scheduled to release multiple books, including six of my own books. Among them are two large hardcover books I am co-writing with my good friend Dr. Gerry Breshears, who is the former president of the Evangelical Theological Society and currently professor of theology and chairman of the Division of Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary in Portland (www.westernseminary.edu).

A couple of weeks ago we were delighted to have Dr. Bruce Ware speak at our Resurgence Conference in March 2007. We had over 400 people for this less than 24 hour conference.
