THE RESURGENCE TRAINING CENTER
Re:train is a master’s-level theology center with some of the best professors in the world, as well as practical training for day-to-day ministry from some of the most well-known and respected pastors today.
Re:train isn’t intended to replace seminary, but it’s one of the most robust supplements available. Re:train prepares men and women for the mission God calls them to.
The Resurgence Seminars ABQ are for anyone who wants to grow as a leader in his or her ministry context. This program incorporates the highest quality instruction, direction for personal study, and practical ministry application all for the purpose of missional development.
The first seminar takes place Saturday, October 15 with Pastor Dave Bruskas, executive elder of Mars Hill Church. He will cover the four points of our movement: reformed theology, complementarian relationships, Spirit-filled lives, and missional churches.
There will be a seminar each month from October 2011 through June 2012. The seminars take place on a Saturday and cover topics such as leadership, community, discipleship, family, and mission. Resurgence Seminars ABQ have hosted pastors and scholars in the past such as Mark Driscoll, Bill Clem, Wayne Grudem, Tom Schreiner, and Mike Wilkerson. It’s not the pastors who do the majority of the ministry of the church—it’s the members, deacons, and community group leaders. We have local events to help build momentum within the local church by getting members to learn, grow, and take initiative to serve the church in whatever way they’re called.
