Why did we invite Lecrae to speak at our upcoming R12 Conference?

Because he loves Jesus and his brand new album, Gravity, recently reached No. 1 on iTunes' Top Albums chart. In the midst of that, he sent this out through Instagram:

Dear Hip Hop, this didn't happen because of swag, drug references, or stripper anthems. #Godisgood

We can learn a lot from Lecrae in how he engages culture, stays on mission, and holds fast to Jesus. He is able to translate complex theological truths into the vernacular of modern and urban contexts.
