Re:Train Kicks Off Its Fourth Year

It has been amazing to watch Re:train kick off its fourth year this week.
This year Re:train has brought in our largest class ever of 128 students, 18 of which are women. This year’s class includes students from 21 states throughout the country with students here from Alaska all the way to Maine. These students come from 71 different churches, and a wide variety of denominational backgrounds. On top of that, Re:train is multi-site for the first time and includes 25 students participating with us from Albuquerque, New Mexico and 19 students in Orange County, California. And showing that ReTrain’s scope is to be of value to all age groups, our students range in age from 20 years old to 57 years old.

This first week of Re:train our students have had three days of training on discipleship from Pastor Bill Clem, in which they also were able to get out into many different Seattle neighborhoods and engage the area as missionaries.
They have also been able to learn from Pastor Justin Holcomb for two days on the important difference between being "theologians of the cross" and "thelogians of glory" and why it matters for leadership and ministry. We are excited for all that God is going to do through this coming year, and those who he might be drawing already to participate in Re:train in the future.

Re:train is oriented toward those who are already leading in ministry and are looking to receive an excellent ministry education without having to leave their ministry context.
Students get the chance to engage with top notch teachers and practitioners in areas such as, preaching, discipleship, community, biblical counseling, leadership, and many other subjects. Re:train is more than just an information dump, as students are intentionally placed into learning cohorts for the whole year with each other, in order to foster collaboration and connection.

Re:train remains dedicated in mission to providing great theological content from world-class teachers, that leads to intensely practical ministry training.
We have continued to do all we can to make Re:train as accessible and affordable as possible by lowering tuition to our lowest rate ever of $2,750 and adding two new locations.
