Resurgence Training

What's Different?
The Resurgence Training Center, known as Re:Train, was founded as the leadership development tool for Mars Hill Church, the Acts 29 church-planting network, and the broader Resurgence movement. The program is entering its fourth year. By God’s grace, over the years we have seen hundreds of students’ participation in the program produce fruit within their local churches. Our prayer and focus is to continue to improve upon Re:Train each year so that, by God’s continued grace and power, many more disciples will be made and churches planted to his glory around the world.
So what will be different about Re:Train’s this year?
1. The Students
Re:Train students are men and women who are already faithfully leading ministries in local churches. Re:Train is not for everyone. It is for those individuals who have demonstrated leadership in their local church and desires to be equipped to lead their churches and ministries to a greater level. We want to train leaders to be leaders of leaders.
2. The Rhythm
Re:Train has historically only been offered in Seattle. In our fourth year we will be expanding locations to Portland, Albuquerque, and several other locations for our weekend sessions. Students will still be required to travel to Seattle for two one-week intensives, but they will also have the opportunity to travel to a location closer to home for live, interactive weekend sessions six times during the program.
3. The Accessibility
While Re:Train is not for everyone, we do desire to make it accessible to all those who it is for. We have done everything we can to reduce our costs of running the program and are passing those savings on to our students. The 2012–13 Re:Train will cost students $2,750 for the entire program. That is nearly half of the cost of what 12 credit hours cost at the majority of seminaries.
Applications for the 2012–2013 year are due by May 25. Check out what other ways that Re:Train is changing and apply here:
