Hey Resurgence Readers,

Hope your Monday's are going well. We wanted to give you some updates on what's going on around here along with a few things to look out for. We're sure some of you have noticed, but we've been updating the site literally bit by bit. It's happening somewhat in the background (unlike one of those apps that constantly asks you to update), so you might not have seen them all. You've been extremely helpful with your feedback, which allows us to tailor the site to make it easier for you to get great content and grow.

New Pages

For the longest time we've wanted to build out pages like the About, Events, Training, Speakers, and Internships tabs above, and now they've finally been implemented. A lot of people know what the Resurgence is, but it's kind of hard to explain. These pages have helped us nail down what we want to be about and focus on. We hope they give you a clearer vision and an easier time when trying to find what you're looking for.

The Facebook Widget

We've also added a Facebook recommendation tool to the right side of the front page on the Resurgence. The articles that are appearing there are the one's that are currently getting traction or being 'Liked.' You can recommend our best articles to others by hitting the 'Like' button at the top of each post. If you like what we're doing here at the Resurgence, we'd love for you to help out by recommending posts you like to your friends.

Dropdown Bar

We've wanted to make posts (like the one you're reading) easier to share, so we added a drop down bar (it's at the top of the browser right now) to each post and page. Click whatever social media or email option you want to use. Don't like the bar? No worries, click the arrow of the left to make it disappear. Voilà! 

Leadership Coaching

Leadership Coaching for Pastor Mark is continuing to grow larger and larger with Pastor Mark being in the rhythm of posting a new segment every Tuesday afternoon. We've gotten a lot of requests to receive the videos through email, but we don't want to fill or spam you're inbox. We're working on a solution that will probably be a once a month email with the top Leadership Coaching piece of that month. There's also been some confusion as to who it's for. Just to clear that up; it's free and for everyone. There's been some issues with some not being able to view the content. If that's you contact us, and we would love to fix your account.

iPhone, iPad, and Android

We're excited to say we're currently working on an iPhone, iPad, and Android app. It's been a long time coming, and our goal is to get gospel-centered content into your hands as easy and as quick as possible. We will definitely do a big post once it's released so you probably won't be able to miss it. In the mean time though, you can use FeedReaders like Pulse or Flipboard to bring the blog content onto your device. What you'll want to do is download and install Pulse from the Market or App Store. You'll then open the app and look for a '+' sign at the bottom to add a new News Feed. Click the search button and type in "The Resurgence." Our blog should be the first one that pops up so click the '+' to add it, and you're good to go.

The Numbers

We've had over 1.5 million different leaders visit the site since January, and our website traffic has more than doubled since this time last year. This is all thanks to you who are reading, learning, sharing, and growing here at the Resurgence. Eveyday we're trying to think to new things to serve you best, and we're working as hard as we can to see others grow, love Jesus, and have a fruitful ministry.
