Louisville Boot Camp Audio, Photos, and More
The theme of the recent Acts 29 Boot Camp in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted by Sojourn Community Church, was ambition. Simply knowing how to plant and lead a church is not enough. Knowledge must come hand-in-hand with God-given ambition. There’s a ton of media available from the boot camp:
Audio of Main Sessions
- Matt Chandler - Ministry for the Long Haul & Ambition
- Kevin Cawley - Decoding your City & Ambition
- Bob Thune - Discipleship & Ambition
- Russell Moore - Speaking Past Demons: Christian Preaching As Expository Exorcism
- Darrin Patrick - Leadership & Ambition
- Steve Timmis - The Church & Ambition
- Ed Stetzer - Church Planting & Ambition
- Dave Harvey - The Gospel & Ambition
Interviews
There are video interviews with Pastors Tim Smith of Mars Hill, Mike Cosper of Sojourn, and Josh Dix of the Journey on what a church planter should look for in a worship pastor. Dustin Neeley has also been posting interviews with some of the speakers, including Matt Chandler (Part 1 and Part 2) and Ed Stetzer (Part 1 and Part 2) so far.
Photos
There are some great photos from the boot camp.
Graciousness
Be sure not to miss this recent post by Acts 29 Director Scott Thomas on graciousness after Dr. Al Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, opened his home to six Acts 29 leaders during their time at the boot camp.
Video Is Coming
Video from the main sessions should be available some time after Christmas. For more content from Sojourn Community Church, check out their iTunes podcast or their RSS podcast feed.
