Introducing Ray Ortlund Jr.
We'd like to introduce you to Ray Ortlund, Jr. He's going to be doing some writing for the Resurgence, and you're going to benefit from his work tremendously. Dr. Ortlund wrote the introduction and study notes for Isaiah in the ESV Study Bible, and he pastors an Acts 29 church in Nashville. We are excited to have him writing for the Resurgence. Here's a little more about him:
Ray Ortlund is the pastor of Immanuel Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ray served on the Old Testament faculty of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, for nine years. He has also pastored churches in California, Oregon, and Georgia. Ray holds a Ph.D. from The University of Aberdeen, Scotland. In addition to a number of essays and articles, he has published five books. Ray also participated in The New Living Translation and the English Standard Version of the Bible. He has been married to Jani for over 35 years.
